The 60 Minute Money Workout

The 60 Minute Money Workout by Ellie Kay is a book that is a step by step guide to living by a budget. This book promised to revolutionize my finances in only 60 minutes a week! This book is written in an interesting way, using humor to get points across.

The concept of this book is to spend an hour a week to get your finances in order.  I am married, but I do not have children and I never take vacations so a lot of this book didn't apply to me. If you are new to living by a budget and you have children then this book would be better suited for you.

If this book had more information for other types of families then I would have gotten more out of it, but if you don't live a certain way this book really won't work for you. I did like the way the book was written, but it just wasn't for me.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review

Softly and Tenderly By Sara Evans and Rachel Hauck

Softly and Tenderly By Sara Evans and Rachel Hauck is about Jade a wife who is going through a very rough time in her life. Jade finds out her husband Max has not been faithful and many other secrets her family has been keeping. Jade is taking care of her mother Beryl who is dying of cancer. She brings her mother home to Iowa where she meets her first love again. Jade is torn between two men and has a mountain of other problems.

I wanted to like this book more, but I found it hard due to all of the negative circumstances surrounding the main characters. I felt this book should have focused more on Jade's faith and how it would see her through any problem, but instead her faith took a backseat to all the other things going on in the book. This book left me with a lot of unanswered questions. Usually this would provoke me to buy the next book in a series, but I really didn't like the tone of this book so I will not seek the next book in the series.

Swiffer 360 Duster

Vocal Point sent me a sample of the Swiffer 360 Duster. I really liked the Duster. The dust stuck to the duster very well. It was much easier to use than a spray and paper towels. After I was done I was able to easily discard the dusting cloth with no problems.  I will definitely be buying this product.
